Friends of the castles

If my castle had been demolished countless stories of its history would have been lost and perhaps you would never have heard of me. Because my castle would not have been restored or converted into a museum, and no audiovisual production would have been dedicated to me. Fortunately, the building remains standing.

It gives me great pleasure to present the numerous people who struggle to ensure that no Catalan castle is demolished. Because our castles are a fundamental part of our medieval heritage and are inextricably linked to the origins of Catalonia. And because every time a castle is demolished, a piece of our history is lost forever.
